Fifty2 End Stigma

October 01, 2025

The Challenge

When you MOVE, TALK, THRIVE, you’re making a bold statement
that mental health is a human right, and everyone deserves support.

Move

Run, walk, or hike 52 miles in one month,
at your own pace and on your own time,
to raise awareness and funds for Family Services.

Talk
Raise awareness and educate others about mental health
to overcome stereotypes, connect through storytelling,
and build a more connected community.
Share on social media and dare your friends to join the challenge.

Thrive
Raise funds to benefit Family Services' critical programs,
because everyone has the right to thrive.

Meet our Fifty2 End Stigma Champions, who will run their 52 miles in ONE DAY to raise awareness
about mental health and broaden Family Services' reach in our community.
This run is a testament to the often long and arduous road to recovery and the
importance of having a team of support when building one's mental health toolkit.
They stand with you and will walk alongside you throughout this journey.

Fifty2 End Stigma represents our vision of a world where everyone has access to mental health care and can live a life free from stigma. Amidst a growing mental health crisis in our country and region, Family Services is taking strides to broaden regional support and access to care through the integration of mental health supports into all of our programs and the expansion of therapeutic care in our eight Mental Health Centers.

Mental and physical health are deeply connected, and regular exercise has been proven to ease stress that may lead to depression and anxiety. Setting goals that are new and challenging, but achievable, can be a vital tool for improving mental health and integrating healthy new habits into our daily lives. As a community-driven challenge, we're relying on YOU to start conversations about mental health, online and in your communities, to build a more connected community.

Together, let's end the stigma.
